She also championed reforms to improve the ease of doing business, advance local manufacturing, and secure VAT refunds—critical issues for businesses grappling with financial strain.
Tricia’s advocacy extends to digital transformation and local content legislation, two critical areas she believes are essential for the future of business in Trinidad and Tobago. She has been a vocal proponent of leveraging technology to enhance business operations, urging companies to adopt digital tools that will drive efficiency and improve service delivery. At the same time, she continues to support legislation that prioritizes local content, ensuring that businesses in Trinidad and Tobago are allowed to thrive in major projects.
Her work has earned her a reputation as a thought leader in business advocacy, a role she continues to play as a member of the International Women’s Forum Trinidad and Tobago (IWFTT) and a Trustee of the Guardian Neediest Cases Fund (GNCF). She is also Vice President of the Trinidad and Tobago – India Business Federation. Tricia’s ability to influence policy, while remaining deeply committed to her community, is a testament to her leadership philosophy—one that blends corporate success with social responsibility.
Tricia’s passion is underpinned by a strong academic foundation, with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami and a Master’s in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. These qualifications, combined with her hands-on experience in financial management, strategic planning, and brand development, have equipped her with the tools to lead organizations through periods of change and growth.
In every role she has undertaken, Tricia Coosal has proven to be a dynamic force, capable of leading with both vision and action.
