Eligibility

Students from any of The UWI’s eight faculties are eligible for bursaries offered by the Fund which is awarded on the basis of academic achievement and financial need.

The bursaries complement the Government’s GATE (Government Assistance for Tuition Expenses) funding, by helping to pay for accommodation, academic material, food and travel expenses. Up to 20 per cent of the scholarships are awarded to regional students.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Applications for scholarships and bursaries at the UWI St. Augustine Campus are done through the Financial Advisory Services department, which serves as the Secretariat for the Campus Committee for Undergraduate Award.
